Are you not getting any radio stack information on the iMFD at all? What is displayed there?

There is no any radio stack information... Only "mode1", "mode2" disappear...

By the way I have downloaded latest drivers from saitek.com

But SSD program (profiles) does not work... I have tested it not only fsx but also with noteped... There is no any signal...

My OS is Vista and using FSX Deluxe edition...

Is there any reason becasuse of Vista or Deluxe Edition??

or any sytemizing the download? Like 1st install driver then SSD and than FSX or the direct contrary...

Thanks for your reply...

Get the beta 2 software from the Announcements section of the forum.

As for the iMFD, have you tried the fix outlined by osmith in post 2 of this thread?

Yes... finally...

I figured it out the problem...

I had installed your driver from the CD yesterday (in the product Boxes) then installed latest from the website for Vista...

Tonight, after the work, first uninstalled the driver and SST program properly and installed the new ones... The result was the same first...

Then I made a trick... only switched the USB connection... (I read this little trick from here )

and everythings ok...

I wish you add a little, tiny message after the driver installation something like "PLEASE SWITCH THE USB or REBOOT YOUR SYSTEM"

Whatever...

But iMFD problem is already continuing.. But I don't care at all...

I have really wonderfull Flight Control System and flying with x52 is wonderfull and thanks SAITEK for this amazing device...

Hi,

That's a known issue with FSX sometimes - uninstall FSX and then go into your C:\Windows\winsxs folder. Browse through the folders in there until you find some starting with 'x86_microsoft.flightsimulator.simconnect...'

Delete those folders, then reinstall FSX and then reinstall the X52 Pro drivers - see if that helps

I have the same problem.
While every driver seems loaded at Task Manager, after I load FSX, the MFD does not shows any radio information.

My OS is Vista64 and I am running FSX Gold Edition.

Loaded plugins are:
DirectOutputService
ProfilerU
SaiFlightSimX
SaiMFD

Am I doing something wrong?

Me Too!!

Ok... I have the same problem with the MFD not working with FSX.

Using current drivers I get nothing on the MFD except for the default display stuff; time, chrono, etc.
If I try to manually run the SaiFltSimX.exe without FSX running, it just sits there and does nothing; does not show up in processes, nothing. If I try to manually run it while FSX is running, it will start and show up in Processes. If I then start an aircraft and enter the cockpit, my MFD will go blank as if something is trying to run on the MFD but I get nothing. Just a blank MFD.

Now... If I re-install the drivers and DO NOT restart my computer I still do not get anything on the MFD but I can start SaiFltSim.exe and then I DO get radio displays on the MFD, ADF, Autopilot functions, etc.

I have never gotten an "Allow plugin" message from FSX as some of the other users have mentioned. No matter what I do...

Otherwise my X52 Pro works great! I have not tried the beta drivers yet...

Just my $0.02... Another user with the MFD issue.

Thanks,
Robert

Hi,

I have the same problem with the MFD and I've made it. Result nothing changed!

But here on my machine ( Vista Ultimate SP1 SP2, FSX Delux SP1 SP2 no Acceleration) I observe some strange things.

If I make a harddisk check and then run an optimizer program (TuneUp 2007) the MFD works for some flights. Even with reboots. But then without any hints the MFD gets blank when fligth is started and finito.

This would be to be tolerated if it functioned over and over again, but, and this is crazy, it not always functions. A reason does not reveal itself.

Would already be if there was, finally, sometimes a solution for this problem. And there I speak absolutely to many here from the soul.

Greetings
Micha

also mfd problems

Hello,

strange things here too.

I managed to reproduce the errors so they are consequent now.

I have FSX Deluxe with SP2.
lastest 64 bit Vista drivers.

Radio stack works after I first install the drivers and load a profile.

If I reboot, the radio stack is not visualised anymore.
I then have to uninstall the Saitek Directoutput 6,2,2,4. and install the drivers again. Then it works a few timese, even if I stop and restart FSX:
If I reboot, same problem, no radio stack anymore.

I also see some strange behavious that the MFD backlit sometimes shuts off and on again when I turn the wheels.

Additional info on the sequence I do:
I plug in my X52 in the same USB port always
I load a profile FSX_X52+PRO
It shows FSX_X52+Pro on the MFD
I start FSX and get the intro free flight screen, no changes on the mfd
when I then click change aircraft, then the MFD goes blank only showing time and all leds flicker very shortly.
from then on, no radio stack, nothing, only the Mode number that changes.

Even when I downloaded the vista 64 bit drivers, I notice that it installed in the program files X86 directory, running as 32 bit. Am I running the wrong program ? I uninstalled everything a few times after I first wrongly installed from the cd, maybe that has someting to do with it ?

I hope somebody has a stable solution for this, I want to start flying and configuring as soon as possible.....

Gunter
