Assigning flaps to a Pro flight throttle quadrant lever
Hi,
Was just wondering if anyone had sucessfully managed to 'map' flap settings to one of the pro flight throttle levers. I've been playing around with it but have not managed it yet. Would be great if anyone could share their profile or give suggestions .regards MrBaz |

I have the yoke system and used its profiler.
I did it this way: Choose Ry Axis Select Directional Axis Set the sensitivity just to the right of its left most position. Set the + block to F7 : Flaps(extend incrementally) Set the - block to F6 : Flaps(retract incrementally) Save and activate. Open notebook and move lever up and down. You should get 2 or 3 keypresses over the range of the lever. With the lever fully up (100) the flaps will be retracted. With the lever fully down (0) the flaps should be fully extended. If not reverse assignments or not as you like. The sensitivity slider will control the number of key presses over the range of travel for the lever. Adjust it if necessay to get 3 key presses. Too high sensitivity will reduce the range needed to move the flaps. Too low and the flaps won't move to their full extent. Last edited by noisemaker : 3rd January 2008 at 19:36. |

Thanks very much, thought it would be something simple.
looks as thought you can have all the flap settings even for boeing jets which is great. thanks again. MrBaz |

I moved the sensitivity already both ways, to most left and most right, but I could not see any difference. I still can not fully retract my flaps or extend my flaps. When you mention using sensitivity to adjust the level, do you mean the sensitivity setting in the profile editor or sensitivity in the flight simulator? Please advice...
