Exclamation Try This

In FS, try setting the sensitivity for all axes to 50% and all null zones to zero (far left).

Try this instead

I had the same problem. Click the REVERSE [x] button in FSX's control axis settings. Otherwise the toe-brake axis is working the wrong way and they are released only when you are pressing them all the way down. Took me a while to figure out. Strange that no one else has noticed this.

Brakes not releasing in FSX

The pedals were shipped with a driver/software CD and an instruction/installation booklet. In the booklet there are game-specific instructions for getting the pedals/brakes to function in 3 games: MS Flight Simulator, IL-2/Pacific Fighters, and Lock-On: MAC.

The instructions for FS do tell you to check the "Reverse" boxes next to the Toe Brake assignments in the "
Assignments" section of the "Display" page of the "Settings", and to adjust the "Sensitivities".

I got my pedals to work OK. Now all I have to do is figure out why my computer reboots every time I select a profile.

I also use an X-52 HOTAS, and it only happens after I install the new programming software. It's a minor issue ( I just have to reinstall the old SST software.) since why would someone want to program the Rudder pedals?

But, it does give the lie to Saitek's claim that the Rudder pedals and the X-52 system work perfectly together.

I've downloaded the pedal drivers and SST software, and the X-52 drivers and SST software fron this website. I'll see if I can get things to work together with them. I like the look of the new SST software interface and would like to use it.

Addendum: Problem solved by following UKSupport direction shown below. Thanks.

Hi,

Install in this order:

X52 Drivers from the website
Rudder Pedals drivers from the website
Rudder Pedalls SST software from the website

That should solve any issues.

can you help me
I own saitek rudder, flight yoke and two quadrants

the brakes are always on, i cannot release them with either a period key, or clicking the button on the yoke
i tried everything won't work, i reversed the rudder braking too, no luck.
the only way i can get the plane to roll is by pressing on the rudder with differential braking that makes it roll slowly.

another issue, i cannot get the axis for the flaps to increase incrementally and decrease incrementally as well as the spoiler via the throttle quadrant.
i pretty much tried everything, been having this problem since sept 2007
If i remove all saitek drivers, fsx works fine
