X-45 showing as fully to the left

Hi,

I just got my X-45 joystick for Christmas but have a problem with it.

When i plug the joystick in and go to the game controllers window in Control Panel i get this...

even though i havent touched the joystick and it is perfectly centred, the window shows that the joysick is fully to the right and i when i move the joystick left and right, it stays where it is on the window.

I have installed the latest driver.

Any ideas?
