X45: "Detachable pinkie hook" -- oh yeah?

The shiny box of my new X45 claims this joystick has a "detachable" hook as part of its pinkie switch. How hard am I expected to pull on this thing? The hook on my joystick looks nothing like the picture on the box, and it certainly is not coming off. Or is there a release button somewhere?

Thanks

As I recall it took quite a bit of force to remove, rocking forward will help. Just reset and removed mine again, get a grip behind the hookpush forward and rotate the hook toward the front it should come right off, does take a little force though.

Thumbs up

That worked perfectly - it came right off. Thanks!
