Hi,

Here's a list of the keys in the registry that the install will look to try and remove (but sometimes can't due to system specific problems).

Click Start>Run, type

regedit

and then click OK.

Click the plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and then look for each of these folders (highlighted in bold at the end of each string) and delete them if you find any of them.

Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstal l\Saitek Gaming Extensions
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstal l\{167E4A06-F407-11D3-95F5-0080AD910D79}

Well regard that probably only one of those keys is in your registry. Worked for me as well. I also deleted Software/Saitek registries.

More keys wont go

I have no chance to delete these.
Something bad has happened in my registry, but its ONLY Saitek stuff.
I have checked the admin rights in order to be able to delete these.
The keys share full rights to me or admin.

HKEY_Classes_Root\CommonDll.SaiCommonCreator
HKEY_Classes_Root\CommonDll.SaiCommonCreator.1
HKEY_Classes_Root\CommonDll.SaiCommonLoader
HKEY_Classes_Root\CommonDll.SaiCommonLoader.1
HKEY_Classes_Root\Pretty.Print.SaiPrettyPrint
HKEY_Classes_Root\Pretty.Print.SaiPrettyPrint.1
HKEY_Classes_Root\Sai3DViewerCtrl
HKEY_Classes_Root\Sai3DViewer.sai3DViewerCtrl.1
HKEY_Classes_Root\SaiBaseGame.SaiCommand
HKEY_Classes_Root\SaiBaseGame.SaiCommand.1
...
...and the list goes on
...
HKEY_Classes_Root\SaiX45.X45LMF
HKEY_Classes_Root\SaiX45.X45LMF.1
HKEY_Classes_Root\SaiX52.ControllerCreator
HKEY_Classes_Root\SaiX52.ControllerCreator.1

Totally 104 keys is there and cannot be removed by any means.
It seem to be rest products of two driver installs.
Keys around these, other programs, can be removed.

I have had several problems with this stick and are ready to throw it away now.

When playing Battlefield2 the throttle goes up to like 65%.
The other wheel controls goes up fully.
Changing to another wheel, makes that wheel star going to 65% only.
Goes for rudder as well.

Saitek refers to a "NukeUSB" on the install CD. What CD? Where?
Could it be nice to have that tool on the website, perhaps?
I need to test that.

I have had error during boot, kust prior to windows XP is finished with all driver & program setups. Error window shows up:
"Manual Configuration got a problem and has to be ended"
With a nice little joystick icon.

This joystick/throttle was so beutiful in all its glory when I bought it a year ago. But how can I use it???
It has never worked. Is there any hope?

/Lars

Hi,

We've not referred to NukeUSB for a really long time now - it's not something that has applied with the software for around 4 years, so there's no need to worry about that.

Are you able to remove the VID_06A3&PID_053C (or VID_06A3&PID_2541) key from the following location?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Control
MediaProperties
PrivateProperties
DirectInput

If so then unplug the controller once you have, then reinsert it and see if that solves the calibration issues.
