Hi all!
I have done a search and looked through, and only see N52 X45 final version BF V /1942!? I am playing BF2 Vanilla/SF/EF and soon to be AF.
I have an X45 and my new Nostromo N52 arrived today and of course they wont work together and everything goes dead so to speak.
Can somebody please help me to get them working in 'Laymans Terms' please!
I really hope this can be fixed as one is no good without the other, and the N52 will have to go back if not.
Thank you
Steve

So, the x45 was working prior to the N52 install?
1. Do you have any other controllers hooked up?
2. Do you have any other gaming devices hooked up (ie, gaming keyboard)?

Hi! Thanks. Yes the X45 works great alone with my mouse and Microsoft Keyboard.
The N52 works ok without the X45, just when I plug both in together when I join BF2 neither will work????
Obviously there is some conflict, but I am not savvy enough to troubleshoot!
Has this been an issue with anyone else and what was their way around this?
Thanks
Steve

Sorry, I thought by saying I am using a Microsoft Keyboard that would indicate/rule out the Gaming Keyboard question.
I am also using no other gaming devices.
My PC is set up as for normal use except...when I want to play BF2 I plug the N52 and the X45 into the 2 x USB ports at the front of my PC. I do not remove the Keyboard.
I have experimented and tried combinations of plugging one or the other into a usb at the rear but that does not make any difference.
If I plug either of them in alone they function well. And after last night I fell in love with the N52, so its here to stay. Just Hope I dont have to lose my X45 as I was begining to see the benefits in using it whilst flying the Jets.
All my software is upto date as I use Gameshadow.
Hope you can help me figure this out.
Thank you
Steve

with them both plugged in go into your control panel>game controllers and either screen shot what you see, or tell me which controllers are listed first to last.
Also you can try, make sure that the controllers are plugged in before you start bf2, go into your account and reset everything up in the control section. MAKE SURE that you are setting up the controls in the SECOND column and not the first!!!!!

LOL! You wont believe this! I just returned to tell you I had figured it out. And I laughed when I saw your post saying the exact same thing!
Well it was due to you anyway, as I remember seeing your response to a guy who had problems with a Cyborg and N52. So I set to defualt and remapped in #2 only
So cheers mate! I am really happy now, and hope my scores go up :-)
