Well here is my story and I hope someone can help me out. I bought a P2500 pad today which I had been wanting to get for a while since I had seen it had 6 thumb buttons (great for Capcom fighting games).
My problem is the digital button to switch between analog control and the dpad does not seem to work. I can hold it down and it works as long as I hold the button down, but just giving it a press does nothing. I've been all over this site and the forums looking to see if I've not programed it correctly but I've come back with nothing. So I'm left with thinking maybe I have a bad pad and I need to swap it for another one. Well any help anyone could give me would be great.

Okay so I downloaded and installed the new 32-bit drivers for my P2500 and the new 32-bit SST. That fixed the problem I was having with not being able to use the digital button, but now I have another problem related to the dpad.
Whenever I create a profile for a game regardless of what settings I put it will reverse the depads directions up and down become left and right etc etc. I first noticed this when I made a profile for a game all I did was remap some of the buttons. So then I even tried making a profile without changing anything at all and still get the same problem.
So now I need to know how to correct this, if I'm somehow doing something wrong, or if I need to add something extra to the profiles I make. I really like this pad and it's driving me slowly nuts that I can't get it working like it should. Well any help at all would be great.

nlstone,
I had the same problems at first with my P2500 Gamepad playing RalliSport Challenge. The D-Pad Up and Down would activate the Left and Right steering of the car. This is what I did to solve the problem. I went into the game and reset the game controller bindings then exit the game entirely. I then proceeded to the windows xp game controllers screen and tested the gamepad (D-Pad/Joystick/Buttons/Rumble) if everything works fine start your game up without a saitek profile activated. Let's see if you can get the right functionality without a profile activated. If your D-Pad works properly create a profile but, I think you would have to switch back to keyboard if you have many keyboard commands in your profile.
