I'm trying to program a keystroke combination to my X52. I have programmed many other keystroke combinations (shift 'x', control 'y', etc.) but I have not been able to program 'Win i' (the 'Windows' key and 'i'), a keystroke combination required to change radar scan modes in LockOn v1.1. Every time I try it, using keypresses or advanced programming, all the keypress actually generates is the 'i'.

Are the 'Windows' keys not assignable in the profile editor? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Had the same problem myself.

Eventually had to reassign the radar scan mode function to the "application" key (between right Ctrl and Alt Gr on my keyboard) + i in the Lockon Options/input keyboard commands page. Then you can assign this to the X52...

This is what Richard has previously posted on Windows keys:
"As for programming the Windows key plus other keys - there's a trick to it because Windows will insist on detecting the Windows key when programming and not log it as a programmed key. Here's how to get around it:

Click the button you want to program then press and hold down the Windows key - now click the green tick to save that to the button.

Now click the button again to edit it - click the red dot next to the green tick to stop the editor picking up mouse clicks for programming, click just after the Windows key in the line so that it is no longer highlighted and the flashing cursor is appearing to its right; then press the key on the keyboard you want to combine with the Windows key; then right click either of the keys, point to Quantize Time and then click 0.00.

Click the green tick and that command should now work."
