I recently purchased a Saitek X45 Flight System.

The problem I am having is with the throttle slider. For instance when I want to use the after burner I have to Slide the slider up and then push the slider one more time in force past the setting for the throttle slider I selected to be max throttle position inside the game to avoid having to force it. This attempt failed to fix the AB Throttle setting. Assistance Needed

Falcon 4.0 Configuration:
F4108US Hi-Tiles SP 4.1 SP 4.2 Hi-Res BMS 2.0 BMS & SP 4.2 Data Patch BAZT 1.1

I think the problem is your game setting. The throttle slide has a detent at about 90% of the way. Slide the throttle to this detent and hit de "set AB" button in Falcon. AB wil kick in at this point. (I set my AB a little past the detent to avoid accidentilly going to AB). If you can't feel the detent you're throttle friction is probally set to high.

The game was not the problem as I discovered later on.

In order to get the throttle working where it should I have to always recalibrate the X45 Flight System each time before I run falcon 4.0 - When I reboot or shutdown eventhough I don't actually unplug or disable the flight system and game pads prior to reboot/shutdown. Strange Problem

Not sure why my computer requires this, but its ok to do if I can get the throttle working correctly before each game of Falcon 4.

Thanks for the info on AB Detent Setting
