My current setup has the radar on-off mapped to the "mouse-fire" button on the throttle. I want to include going from SST to TWS on the same mouse-fire button with the use of the pinkie switch. So it would work like this; I hit the mouse-fire while in mode 3 (combat) and it will turn the radar on, or off. In addition to this pressing the pinkie switch and then pressing mouse-fire would toggle the radar mode from SST to TWS. So far I have not got it to work. It only shuts the radar on and off with the pinkie switch pressed which tells me it's not working like I belive it should. I have this funtion mapped to the Mode 3 + pinkie shiftstate where I think it should be, but who am I to know such things. Any help would be great.
Hope that makes sense and your able to see what I mean.
Thanks,
Jimbo.
PS LOMAC is the sim if that has in some weird way anything to do with my question.

Hi,
Attach your profile to your reply and I'll have a look at it.

Ok I had thought briefly that it might have something to do with crossing commands, so I created this new profile with only these two commands, but still no-joy. Mode-3 has the "i" key assigned to mousefire(toggles radar on-off). Mode-3 + pinkie has "Alt+i" assigned to mousefire(switches between RWS and TWS radar modes).
Also the "F. LOCK" led on the stick is illuminating when squeezing the pinkie-switch, so I belive that rules out the pinkie not working.
Thanks,
Jimbo.

Yes, I wondered if that might be the case - you haven't actually set the pinkie switch to operate as a shift button. Right-click the Pinkie Switch in the profile and select Shift Button from the drop-down list of options It should then work fine.

Thank you. That did the trick.

Good Morning.
I developed a short in the interface cable between the throttle and stick, at the stick side, right where the cable runs int the flex connector. I'm pretty sure that the short is in the cord itself, and not the connector. I have determined this by moving both parts around, and observing when the LED's in the throttle handle flicker.
Any suggestions?
Thx.

It's actually more likely to be a short in the socket - have a look at this link for the way to fix this:
