Anyone know how to get this keyboard to work though this KVM? If you plug it into the front keyboard USB, it locks up the kvm. If you plug it into the back (USB periferals) it works fine, but I can't switch to my other computer. It seems like you need two keyboards, the second to switch the USB periferals to the next computer, but that kind of defeats the purpose....
Any help is appriciated!

I have also spent frustrating hours trying to get Saitek kbd working through KVM switch. I have tried both KVM switches i have (IOGEAR and Belkin) and both are no go. No problems with other kbds. Saitek works only when connected directly to host, which in my case is out of question.
I will cut my losses and throw Saitek kbd away.

I had a similar problem and found no answer. Tried USB to PS/2 adapter and a PS/2 KVM switch, but that didn't work either. I don't think the Saitek KB works with the adapter anyway because it won't work connected directly to the PC.
The only way I got it to work was to put it in the misc USB connection on the KVM switch and not connected as keyboard. With no keyboard connected, I cannot boot either computer, so I would have to connect a 'dummy' keyboard and just not use it. Since I want to put the KVM switch away from my desk and just use keyboard hotkeys, I can't use the Saitek keyboard in this configuration and the main point of the KVM switch is to eliminate extra hardware around and having two keyboards connected seems stupid.
If anyone knows of a KVM switch that works with the Saitek keyboard through the normal keyboard connection, please let us know. I have failed with IOGEAR USB and a Sanwa PS/2 KVM switch.
I love the Saitek keyboard, but due to the limitations with KVM, I can't use it.

Hi,
It will only work through the USB port however, the only KVM that I've had positive confirmation of it working through is the Iogear MiniView 2 Port USB KVM switch, model GCS102U

Well, I went out and traded my 59.99 KVM switch for a 129.99 KVM switch.
It's like they say ... you get what you pay for.
The IOGEAR MiniView Extreme GCS1732 KVMP Swtich works just fine with the keyboard, and has audio support as well (sound & mic).
All is well. :)

Sorry, but It doesn't say what keyboard you guys are using. I'm attempting to get an Eclipse to work. Hope you can help.

I also purchased the powered IOGEAR MiniView Extreme GCS1732 KVMP, and it works with the Gamer's Keyboard. The backlit keys must require too much juice for a non-powered KVM.

Hello
I am new here but wanted to post and tell everyone that I just got a Eclipse keyboard. I found this post while researching to find out if it would work with my KVM. I am also using a Logitech G7 laser mouse. And can tell you they both work with the Iogear GCS102U MiniView 2 port USB KVM.
