ok-I downloaded the profile for il2 from the website,and installed it----fine.I printed out the profile and fired up the game.everything looks good.BUT: on the profile( for example on the throttle) I see the E button programmed to(1)time accelerate
(2)time decelerate
ok iclik the buttonand time accelerates with each clik.but i have to go to keyboard to decelerate--so how do i get the (2) position? In the profile the pinkie switch is set to Autopilot.The (1) and (2) are on nearly every button so HEEEELP!! ----

You didn't make it clear what the (1) and (2) indicate. Are they Mode 1 and Mode 2 or a single mode with the (1) being the unshifted command and the (2) being the shifted command.

I believe the key to the problem is that the "shift" switch is programmed as a Button, rather than as a shift function.. Haven't looked at the profile of IL2 to check on that.

You should be able to program 6 different commands to a button when the shift switch is programmed as a "shift". Otherwise you will only be able to program 3 commands to a button- one in each of the 3 Modes.

Click on the little symbol in the Shift block on the profile to see how the shift switch is programmed.
