Hi

im playing BFV and there seems to be no way of inverting the joystick in game. Can i invert the x and the y in the control panel / profile editor?

With regards to drifting - i downloaded the microsoft patch and tried the dead thinging with no joy.

However did solve the issue by using the advice given in the following post.

Yes, you can invert the y axis by reassigning the controls again. If you want pushing the stick forward to make you pitch up then click on the current assignment for pitch up and then push the stick up to assign it to that action. If you want pitch up to be controlled by pulling the stick back then do the same thing but pull the stick back instead.

That should work, BUT.
In BF:V I ran into the problem were the axis wouldn't reassign. They would stay the same. I found that I had to set them to a key to remove the axis from the control options (I always used the default key). Then reassign the axis I wanted and save it. Don't know if this is the problem your haveing but it happened to me a couple of times.
