Saitek Cyborg Evo Force

I'm not sure of the correct word to use in order to describe what I would like to do.

Anyways, here is what I would like to do. I want to make my joystick less responsive in that when I push the joystick all the way left or right or up or down or whatever, I don't want it to move fast. (Yes, I fail at this description, sorry)

Basically, I want it to turn slowly. As of now, it moves about 4-5 inches, the reticle on the screen, and I would like to move maybe a third of that much. With the mouse I can get pinpoint accuracy with my aiming.

I know this description is horrible, but I really can't seem to think of the right words to use. Thanks for reading.

Hi,

Which game is SCEF and exactly how are you programming the stick? Are you assigning mouse commands to the stick movement?

SCEF = Saitek Cyborg Evo Force - the joystick I'm using.

The game is X-Wing Trilogy - which includes three games. The one I'm playing is Star Wars: Tie Fighter.

No button commands or any programming or anything. All I want is for the default joystick movement to change. I want it to turn slower when I move the joystick in any direction. See, it jumps once it reads that I'm moving the joystick in any direction, or rather it moves too fast in that (any) direction.

No, there's no way of doing this at the moment, I'm afraid. We are going to be adding the ability to edit the response curve of any axis on your controller in the next major update to the software which is due later this year.

jabun if you have sst programming software installed you can try changing the x andy axis of the stick to become the mouse and the profile editor will handle the sensitivity
