mouse stays on after shut down

hi i have a problem with my mouse model number M188 USB after i shut down the red laser light and the mouse wheel light remains on how to i get the mouse lights
to turn off

The mouse lights should scan for a bit and then eventually power down. Try placing it on different surfaces in case glare is making it think that its moving slightly.

Most computers will still supply power to USB ports in standby or even after a shutdown, depending on the motherboard settings.
