Ok, I took out my controllers out of the box and plug them directly into a usb port as directed by instructions. I inserted the installation cd that came with my product and it says and error message about how it could not find a specific place. My computer automatically restarts it self out of no where and I log into my account. When I get in, after 2 minutes the whole system freezes, there for I had to turn the system off by pushing in on my computers power button. After 2 system restores, I have had no luck what so ever at fixing this problem. Even after a system restore my mouse and keyboard do not respond. It is getting very agervating to spend 3 days trying to fix this issue, and have $320 worth of equipment (I have the flight pedals, but are not installed due to this issue) sitting around doing nothing. Please help me before I blow a gasket.:(

If you unplug the X52 Pro, does the issue go away?
I'd also recommend using the new Beta2 drivers (linked in the Accouncement forum) instead of the stuff on the CD - much more stable in my experience.

some information about your system may help e.g. what OS are you using, which motherboard or at least chipset that it uses?

UPDATE: Got everything working fine and now I'm tweaking the contoller for what I like. I'm having issues on how touchy the joystick is. If I move my joystick 1/4 of a centimeter, it will roll the whole plane. How can I make this VERY less touchy. Any help is appreciated!

What game as imo it's most likely that this is down to the ingame settings rather than the stick (you can check in the Windows game contrillers test screen)?

Hi,
Try the following:
From your Windows desktop, press and hold down the left CTRL+SHIFT keys on the keyboard, start Flight Simulator and start a new flight. Continue to hold down CTRL+SHIFT until the game is in Cockpit view and fully loaded. Now press the Alt key on the keyboard and then click Flights at the top of the screen and then Reset Flight. See if that helps.
Note: this will reset all the controller settings in the game.

Okay,
Uninstall FS2004 completely - this means uninstalling it the usual way and then going and deleting the folder that's left behind in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games (there may be one in My Documents too - check to see if there and if so, delete it).
Now reinstall it again and see if that has helped. It's also worth testing the stick in another game to see if the same issues is present there.

I can't unistall it, because it says the unistall.exe is missing.:(

Okay,
Delete the Flight Simulator folder from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games and then try reinstalling.
