I sent the following to tech support:

I have had my New X52 for a week plus and can not get it to work wright--have read alol of the posts and found others who have similar problems.

Problem with stick:
Lockon 1.12a apparently reads randomly functions "buttons #33 & #34" (used by the small wheel on the throttle arm) as they would have been activated. But this happen without touching the wheel at all ?!?

For example, if you try to change some X-52 buttons assignment in Lockon setup, it will read #32, #33 or #34 as soon as the small assigment window open and before you have the time to press on the button you want.
Thanks for any help
I saw some post abut looking for certain S/N--mine isSZ00411681

Here was reply and results:
Hi,

first go to the test screen (Start > Control Panel > Game Controllers > Properties) and check that everything responds ok there.

Next, as a test, go to the device manager (Right Click > My Computer > Properties > Hardware Tab > Device Manager) and expand 'saitek magic bus' if it is present and right click 'saitek magic mouse' and go to properties and disable it. Then try Lock-On.

Next try installing the driver from the following link:

X52 drivers

And see if that makes a difference.

MY REPLY:It tested ok
After step 2 --still no luck
I dwn loaded update and ran it
Now cannot find icon that was at bottom of page--
I went to control panel and it tested ok after the update
still can't get to work
Should I remove complete program and load from CD?

Thanks for any help as I'm not all that PC savey!

The icons dont appear because the link i gave you was for the drivers, and the icons are part of the software. I've emailed you a link to the software.
