Before you try it, could you answer my question in your original thread?

If it's unticked then the pedals should be moving the cross in the box on the test screen: the gas pedal taking that to the top, ther brake pedal to the bottom and then the cross returning to the centre when you let go. Is this the case?

What's happening is that the game has assigned the brakes and the gas to the Y axis on the controller. On a joystick this would be fine because pushing the stick forwards would make the car accelerate and pulling it back would make it brake.

As the wheel is currently operating in 3 axis mode, the gas pedal has the Y axis all to itself which is why you're getting the behaviour that you're seeing (when the pedal is not pressed, it's the equivalent of the joystick being pulled back, which the game has assigned to the brake/reverse function).

The .jpg you attached is too small for me to see anything so I can see what the settings are in the test screen for you. Can you confirm for me if the wheel is operating as described below?

Make sure that the Operate Pedals Separately box is not ticked. This should result in the cross in the X/Y axis box sitting in the centre when nothing is pressed. It should go to the top of the box when you press the gas pedal and to the bottom when you press the brake pedal. The red bar on the right should not respond to either pedal.
