does the sst beta work with x52?

I have downloaded the new beta version of the sst software because I have a vista OS.

I also have a X52 joystick.

I know I can't use my old .dat profiles, so I have made one new for lomac. The profile is saved and appears in the menu of the running program icon of sst (botton-right of the desktop). Althouh I choose it nothing happens when I use the X52.

I open the notepad and use some bottons of my joy, but nothing happens. The profile is correctly applied according to the little panel of my joy.

The X52 is correctly installed with vista because I can use it in il2 and lomac without using a profile. But the sst software seems not to work

Can anyone help me?

Maybe a silly question, but did you also install the new beta driver?

I think your question is not as silly as myself.:p

I think I have installed the "standar" driver for my X52 ("...300107.exe"). I haven't installed the new beta version.

I will install it later and i'll see what happens.
