I've got a brand new X52 Pro and the Saitek rudders installed, and I installed
the drivers, all software, and the mouse/keyboard driver functionality for all
of the hardware from the supplied CDs. During install, it also looked for updated drivers, and took a long time during which I assume it downloaded the latest stuff and installed it.
All axis/button/rotator/slider appear to work fine in the Saitek control panel tester, and seem to work when I assign them either in a game/sim, or when I use the profile editor and select that profile prior to starting the game/sim.
The MFD display however, displays nothing other than "Mode 1" on the first of the 3-line display, and "No Profile" on the 3rd line of the display, even after a profile has been loaded by clicking on the systray applet and choosing a profile. I know the profile is loaded, because it works in the game, yet the MFD does not show anything on it ever, other than "Mode 1" and "No Profile". Even when I move the mode selector to mode 2 or 3, the MFD display's top line changes to 2 or 3, but the middle part of the display still reads "Mode 1 ... No profile".
Is this a bug in the driver and/or software? What can I do to get this functionality to work properly?
