View Full Version : Running SST under Vista with X52 for FSX

Hi everyone.

I presume I'm not an exception but wanted to mention it.

I just bought a X52 flightstick for use with Flight Simulator X.

As new user of Vista, I knew I had to find some brand new drivers to work with.

But I didn't know anything about SST !
And of course nothing about its Vista compatibility problem. It just doesn't work !
So, I discovered I dramaticly need it :(

Because X52 without SST is like a Ferrari with the clutch locked into 1st position !!! You can make noise and play with lights, but that's all folks !

I don't read many news about a roadmap for the brand new version of SST.

Please can somebody help ?

they are hoping to have a version out by the end of this month.
In the meantime you should be able to configure ingame albeit it isn't going to give you as many commands to play with as using SST.

Hi,

The reason for the delay has been explained in many of the other Vista software threads here on the forum.

In the meantime, if you're running the 32-bit version of Vista then the fix in the following thread works:
