Hey Folks,

I am a newbie to this board and just purchased the X52. One of the threads I read was very helpful with fixing my throttle as it was always mapped to the slider. I have a question about the two Roataries on the throttle of the X52. What are these typically used for in games like Lock On, IL2 Sturmovik, etc.? What buttons on the keyboard are the two roataries typically mapped to? Thanks in advance for your reply.

I use the rotarys for TDS (target designation system) cursor slewing in LOMAC in the SU-25T.

I set it up using bands - say, 1-49% for slew left, 51-100% to slew right - the same for up/down.

Thats when I have a working SST (ie not on Vista!! :( )

I normally set the rotaries as roll and yaw trim in IL2

My rotaries are set up as elevator trim and flaps in Il-2 1946. Ohhh yes, flaps are very handy in a dogfight sometimes, especcially with the spitfire  'normal' people have only two flap settings on the spit' In and out. I have as many as I want :D

The little slider on the throttle is for prop pitch.

The reason I jumped on the forums today was to find out how to change the mapping from the slider to the throttle.
How do you do it?
I havent used my X52 for about a year as I have been racing sims online but want to get back into the flight sims.
Thanks in anticipation
Cheers
