View Full Version : Cyborg Evo Force totally uncalibrated...

Since I bought my Cyborg Evo Force, it has been extremely uncalibrated by all axis (X Y and Rudder).
Setting the minimum deadzone so everything would be centered disables the ares near the center. That gives me a really hard time, for example (BF2), to gun down a jeep, not to say flying a helicopter.

That really makes playing difficult. I even tried to replace the stick under warranty, didn't help.

Any fix for that uncalibration problem? Is anyone here have the same or similar thing?

Wow so many replies in such a short time...
It has been a week since I posted this thread and no one even bothered looking.
I really like the support here. Thanks.

Hi,

Apologies, but your thread never came up in the list of new threads - you must have created it whilst I was replying to a new list of threads and so it got passed over.

Unplug the controller, click Start>Run, type regedit and click OK. In the Registry Editor browse to the following folders in order:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Control
MediaProperties
PrivateProperties
DirectInput

And delete the VID_06A3&PID_FFB5 folder. Plug the controller back in, rotate and twist the stick fully a couple of times and see if that has fixed it.

If it hasn't then please return it to the store for an exchange.

Apology accepted :)
And it didn't solve the problem. As I said, I've already replaced it. I guess the problem is in the manufacturing and not in this specific product.

Any other solution maybe?

I have a very similar problem.

The rudder is always to the left. In control panel, the red bar that you get when you move the joystick is always half way left when the stick is centered. I move the rudder to both extremes, and it is still the same.

The weird thing is, the joystick worked FINE last night. This morning though, all of a sudden its being a total pain.

The joystick is brand new too. This is pretty pathetic really.

If I cant be given a fix on this forum, I'll be taking it back and never buying Saitek again.

Hi,

Have you tried the fix mentioned above? If so and it still doesn't help then please return the stick to the store for an exchange.

Lol eikcam, that's what they always tell. I don't think i'm buying any Saitek product again. Sorry UKSupport, you really are nice, too bad you can't really do anything about the manufacturing problems.

Yes I have tried the fix as mentioned above. Did nothing.

Yes I will exchange the stick, for a Logitech.
