Hi all,
I have thesame problem, but actually the navigation data do not appear using FSX as well.
I've tryed to run SaiFlightSim.exe as described in the manual, but an error message appears.
All the rest seem to properly work, but not this USEFUL feature.
I would appreciate any suggestion

Hi,
It's not stated that the MFD will work with FS2004 - only FSX is supported.
What's the error that you're getting please?

Yes, but actually I have problems with FSX as well.
I've the demo release installed (the one provided in the DVD given with the Saitek X52Pro).
Everything seem to work but for the feature to show the navigation data in the MFD. I've tried as suggested in the manual: to run the progam SaiFlightSim.exe. I have an error message back, saying that the program does not work in the machine and suggesting to reinstall the software, not specified if the X52Pro drivers or the FSX. I've tried with both but nothing has changed.

Ah yes, unfortunately the demo version of Flight Sim X doesn't include the SimConnect feature that the MFD plug-in communicates with. You will only get the radio stack feature working if you have the full release of FSX. Sorry.

Thanks Richard,
I had the impression that it wouldn't work because of the demo release.

Dear Sir, Madam,
Still, could you please actually explain to us how to get the FS2004 COMM-data visible in the MFD? It does not work with me either. I also cannot find it in the manual. In case it is in the manual, could you please tell me where I can find it, because I can't.
Thank you,
kind regards

Hi,
It doesn't work out of the box, as I stated above - only FSX is supported initially. However, someone has now created a FS2004 plug-in and you can obtain it at this link:

Thank you very much for this link, I am happy we can make the X52 to work with FS9 also.

I've tried running the saiflightsimx.exe as shown in the manual to try and get the radio stack working om the X52, but I get the error message that the application cannot start because the software is not configured correctly.
I've tried re-installing, but FlighSimX just does not want to talk to the X52's display.
Hope someone can help.
