Hi,

I have a problem with the X52 flight stick. The black plastic Yoke piece with 4 small screws that pivots on 2 metal pins & I believe helps control the twisting motion for rudders has broke. Where can you get parts? Whats this piece called?
Thanks for any help.

LOL Mine did the same thing Saturday night. I cracked her open, seen the same piece broken in three corners. So I drilled through the top, following the screw holes of all 3 broken ones, and used spring pins (http://www.driv-lok.com/springpins.asp) to run right through the square, the broken nub, and the top of the controller. Then added a bit of crazy glue to keep em in place. I wish I had picked up a few more sticks, when Futureshop had em for $70 on Boxing Day. ;)

I'm not quite sure what ya do with those spring pins. Mine is completely broke in half (right in the middle) and I would like to find a replacement. Maybe we will get lucky & Saitek will come out with a metal replacement part that lasts forever LOL
Thanks for your reply.

OH wow. Mine, is intact.
The plastic 'nuts' that the screws go into to hold the square down broke on mine. SO I drilled through them, and through the exterior of the joystick, with the same sized drill bit, and used the pins to hold the square in place. The pins are basically just to stop it from moving, as I don`t think crazy glue would have held it in its place.
I`ll have to get the pics off of my phone and up em.

I think a metal replacement, would just make it more likely to do what mine did.

We need childproof joysticks!!

Won't it be worth to try to fix it with superglue or something?

Or aren't there any nice fragments to be glued?
