How to open Saitek Evo??

I'm trying to open my Saitek Evo to put some fishing weights in to make the base heavier. I've unscrewed the screws on the base. Now what do I do? Do I just force the casing apart? Or does it slide out? I don't want to break it.

Can anyone please help?

It clips into place so you have to wedge it open (carefully). Just make sure all six screws are out and it should pull apart with a little effort.

Thanks a lot! I've managed to open it without breaking it by wedging it open at various positions.
